Crescent Moon in Libra

Crescent Moon over Wet Mountains. Photo copyright Chas S. Clifton.
Low-light mule deer bucks. Chas S. Clifton

Two low-light images taken within a minute of each other from my driveway. The light was going fast, so one of the mule deer bucks' heads is blurred where he moved it.

You can make the associations yourself.

In Scandinavian tradition when the moon looks like that he is called Lord Moon and the Sky Deer. People pray to him for a good month. The first new moon of the new year is most important, because he rules the whole year.

@Anonymous 9:50 -- thanks, I like like that.

@Apuleius -- Glad you liked it. Sometimes in the middle of the business of life you get clobbered with a message from the gods, and this was one of those times.
