A Pagan Writer's Blog

I read (and loved) Crowley's "Beasts" twenty years ago, but couldn't get through "Little, Big" then; perhaps it's time to try him again!
The one that jumped out at me was Conrad's Nostromo, which I will probably get and read now. But I haven't read any of them!
Little, Big is the only one I have read. Nostromo is the only other one that I have heard of. I have read some other Joseph Conrad, though.
I have read the Quammen. But Beasts is Crowley's best-- human - lion chimeras, Peregrine falcons, intelligent dogs, and more.
