Busman's Holiday
In other words, this weekend is all about reviewing a group of papers for an academic folklore journal. Don't expect much blogging unless something really interesting happens.
"Busman's holiday" defined.
Update: I forgot to mention the twenty-some proposals that I need to read and rank for next November's Pagan studies sessions at the American Academy of Religion meeting. That is part of the job of a steering-committee member.

Which journal, if I may ask? I'm a folklore junkie and am always looking for an academically-inclined fix.
Yes, I understand this phenomenon.
I, alas, also have many papers to grade over the break, as I got behind on it while I was sick.
I am about 2/3 through that article I am reviewing for the Pom, incidentally.
Miakoda:
Peer reviews of scholarship in academic journals are supposed to be anonymous, so I should not identify the journal.
Peg:
Get to work! *cracks whip*
yes, working away.
BTW, I think my AAR proposal will not be in the running since I could not get the online forms to work. But WEndy and M. York did get an email version.
