Site feed update

Inspired by the problems with BeliefNet (which still occurred before I touched any of my site feed settings), I have tweaked the settings a little bit, trying to make them more compatible with different browsers and aggregators.

Thanks also to everyone who contacted BeliefNet on my behalf.

Knowledgeable feedback will be appreciated. I am curious to know if the LiveJournal feed that was set up for this blog has vanished into the ether too, but since I am not an LJ user, I cannot check it.

The LJ feed is and has been working with great regularity.

The LJ feed has not disappeared, but it has been malfunctioning a bit lately. It occasionally produces a dozen or more of your posts in succession, many of them quite old.

Thank you both for the feedback.

The re-publishing of old posts was my doing--I had been experimenting with adding New Blogger-style post labels to them after I converted to it.

You don't have to be an lj user to view it.

Thanks for that information. I wonder, though, if there are two LJ feeds for this blog, one using some variation of "chasclifton."

Oh well, it doesn't matter. I tweaked things some more today, but BlogHeaven still doesn't want me, it seems.

It still works fine but I've also seen the old posts as you've updated them.

Yes, that was the other feed that an LJ user had set up for me. A couple of days ago I added a link to it in my sidebar. thanks.
