It's been out for a long while now. I ordered my copy over a year ago. It took a long time for me to receive it at the time (four months!), but they've switched publishers since then, and are now using the much-more-reliable BookSurge.
Kveldulf actually worked on the second edition fairly extensively, before turning it over to us in 2004; he revised the text and added some new material in both Vol. 1 and the upcoming Vol. 2. Come to think of it, I think most of his newer contributions are in Vol. 2. But at any rate, he's most definitely in the loop.

As someone whose name is in it and who helped collate the original printing, I'm surprised that I hadn't heard. I wonder if anyone told Kveldulf.
