But he has also been working on his autobiography as a Witch, beginning with his teenage years, and the first volume is now available for order.

I think "contemporary" is a poor choice of word. Many people think the word is synonymous with "modern," but it is not- the phrase begs the question "contemporary with what?"
Of course, it doesn't exactly roll off the tongue, either.
